Reflections on My Final Month as ITLA President

As my final month as President of the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association comes to a close, I want to take a moment to reflect on this past year and express my deepest gratitude to those who have supported me along the way. Leading this organization has been an absolute honor — an experience I will always cherish and remain profoundly grateful for.

We are fortunate to have such a strong and respected trial lawyer association in Illinois. The important work we do would not be possible without our exceptional ITLA staff. I will especially miss my daily phone calls with our Executive Director, Jim Collins, whose dedication and leadership are invaluable. Alongside Jim, the entire ITLA staff (Tim McLean, Katie Davis, Paula Allen, Angela Vincent, Kevilee Burge, and Alexa Respress) keeps this organization running smoothly, and I’m deeply appreciative of their efforts.
