We help victims face down corporations, insurance companies, health care providers, and other entities or individuals threatening harm against other members of their community.

Senate passes bipartisan bill ending forced arbitration in sexual harassment cases
In a voice vote on Thursday morning, the Senate approved the Ending Forced Arbitration of Sexual Assault and Sexual Harassment Act. The bill, which was approved by the House in 335-97 vote on Monday, “would end forced arbitration in workplace sexual assault and harassment cases, allowing survivors to file lawsuits in court against perpetrators.” (Washington Post - 2/10/22) “An estimated 60 million American workers have clauses tucked into their employment contracts forcing them to settle any allegations of sexual misconduct in private arbitration proceedings, rather than in court.
