There are few things more satisfying and beautiful than being part of a successful team. We all have various teams in our lives seeking to accomplish different goals. Whether it be our families, friends, coworkers, or other groups working towards a common pursuit, these teams thrive or suffer based on how its leaders and members work together.
In a recent trial, teamwork was essential. Eight lawyers were involved in daily tasks with more helping behind the scenes. Another nearly twenty staff members provided vital support to the trial presentation. People were asked to trust each other, listen to one another, work hard, and then execute. As we proceeded through the trial day after day, the momentum built. The collaboration became more and more seamless. The trust and hard work fed off one another. As a result, the execution was outstanding. The resulting verdict was a complete success.
