Why doesn’t ITLA……...?
I admit I am a regular lurker on the list-serve. It’s often the quickest way to hear about a great verdict, a new opinion, get the scoop on our new judges, and pick up practice tips. It’s also tremendously reassuring to read a series of posts that tells me I’m not the only one who doesn’t understand something.
As president, I also pay outsize attention to the “Why doesn’t ITLA do…” posts. Some of you reading this may have gotten off-list replies furthering the discussion, connecting you to the best person to talk to about your question, or explaining ITLA’s position. ITLA cannot interfere with court business. ITLA cannot make your FedEx deliveries come earlier or later. But ITLA can do a lot if the membership steps up and participates. The best way to do this is to join one of ITLA’s standing committees.
